My hobby/project this summer is a vegetable garden and a green lawn, with a weed free flower garden. I have got seeds starting for carrots, sweet peas, cucumbers, watermelon, canteloupe, and so forth. Hopefully all turns out well. Once Aaron & I get the garden prepped I will take a picture.
I know nothing... well at least not much about gardening, but I read a few books from the library, and I'm determined to either learn how to garden well hands on, or learn how to fail, miserably, but I'm eager to give gardening a shot.
I learned not to plant pumpkins in dry, weed-treated soil last summer. This summer I plan on adding peat moss and either compost or green manure to my soil before transplanting the seeds.
