40 Weeks and Counting

Disney is trying all the different varieties of food at the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. Try a new un-American dish this week and share it with someone else.

41 Weeks and Counting

Disney is Ewoks scaring Aaron at 5am on his 2nd day of work at the park previously named MGM Studios. Wake up 20 minutes earlier than you normally would each day this week and use the extra time to be productive.


42 Weeks and Counting

Disney is Titan and Ashley being turned away at the gate on their FIRST trip to Disneyland. Help someone out this week that you see is being rejected.

Lagoon August 1st: Ally made friends with Braxton and included him. Kyrie made friends with Dallin (my boss's son) and rode on rides with them at Lagoon.


 Bear Lake: August 2-4, 2013: Pappa Scotty treated the grandkids to pony rides, since big bad mom and dad said no to bounce houses. Aunt Ada and Kylee treated the kiddos to wands, also to keep them happy, since mommy and daddy rejected their requests.

43 Weeks and Counting

Disney is Pappa Scotty and his Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches at the parade. Share some ice cream with friends and/or family this week.




Aaron and the girls and I went to Coldstone. But we pulled the girls out of bed to take them as a surprise, since it was the only night we had available to go out for ice cream. Oh, and Aaron and Ally had shark week ice cream.

Disney is: the Statue of Pooberty. Demonstrate your gratitude for the freedom we have in this country to travel and go to Disney World in some way.

46 Weeks and Counting

Disney is: being the last kid standing to watch the poppers at Fantasmic! Congrats Cort! Make some time to watch some fireworks this week.










We went as a family to a barbecue and then Kyrie went to see Stadium of Fire and Ally came with Daddy and Mommy and Pappa Scotty to see the fireworks in Layton as well as enjoy the bounce house.

48 Weeks and Counting

Disney is: walking through Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones, Monsters Inc. and Haunted Mansion after they have broken down. Fix at least one thing that hasn't been fixed in a while that you have been meaning to get to.

Aaron's project is to finish making a permanent installation of the safety gate for my preschool.







Aileen's project is to finish going through the bins of donated preschool supplies as well as organize the shelves of my preschool papers/project supplies and organize.

 


Kyrie and Ally are improving their swimming skills in preparation for playing in the water parks next summer.

50 Weeks and Counting

Disney is: Carrying 50 pound kids out of the parks at midnight. Come up with an exercise routine to stay in shape and stick to it. Help your secret service pal do the same.




Aaron has a goal chart he is using to help motivate him to exercise as well as include us with his family workouts. We ran another 5k this week. Even Kyrie ran the full 5k.

51 Weeks and Counting

Disney is: Clean. Pick a room in your home and clean it to make room for Disney planning supplies.

This week, to emulate Disney, we detail cleaned one of the rooms of our house. Aaron deserves most of the credit, but the ladies also cleaned their bedroom.























 

 

52 Weeks and Counting

Disney is: Pictures at the Partners Statue EVERY trip. Visit one of your favorite local spots and take a picture. Write about it in your journal and include the picture. Don't stop using the journal. Write about your life and experiences getting ready for the trip this year.

For week 52, the master packer planner assigned us to do something as a family and take a picture at our favorite location. Aaron and I ran a 5k "Running with Angels" on Saturday, May 18th, and went to Buffalo Wild Wings after for lunch (one of our family's favorite places).
